Activate free SSL in DirectAdmin Print

  • 0

Let's Encrypt is a free SSL certificate provider that allows you to secure your website with HTTPS. DirectAdmin supports Let's Encrypt SSL, making it easy to install and manage SSL certificates for your domains.

Here's how to activate Let's Encrypt SSL in DirectAdmin:

  1. Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel.
  2. Navigate to the "SSL Certificates" section.
  3. Click the "Get automatic certificate from ACME Provider" button.
  4. Select the domain for which you want to activate Let's Encrypt SSL and click the "Save" button.
  5. DirectAdmin will automatically generate and install the SSL certificate for your domain. You'll see a confirmation message once the certificate has been successfully installed.

That's it! Your website is now secured with a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate.

Note that Let's Encrypt SSL certificates are valid for 90 days. DirectAdmin will automatically renew the certificate before it expires, so you don't have to worry about renewing it manually. If you want to view or manage your Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, you can do so from the "SSL Certificates" section in your DirectAdmin control panel.
